One of our distributor clients was "paid" by a customer in medical equipment. Since the distributor did not have an active market in the medical equipment in question, they turned to us. After testing the waters, we found a market and ultimately purchased all the distributor's remaining equipment. In this case the distributor wanted to monetize his inventory as quickly as possible and we were willing to purchase the inventory for future sale.
