NORAS 4-Channel Breast coil with Patient Rest - Model MR10320-NO
The NORAS BI 320-PA, with its clever integrated pair of coils, offers a maximum of comfort to the patient and a very good access to perform biopsies. The NORAS 4 Channel Breast Coil consists of a removable 2-Channel Pad Coil Systems (PPC) and a 2-Channel Insertion Coil (IPC). This open coil allows the use of the NORAS Biopsy Unit (Post&Pillar and Grid), which enables lateral, medial or cranio-caudal biopsy or marker wiring. NORAS Version 2 Philips Patient Rest - Model MR10320-PH-2
The NORAS biopsy product variety suits the PHILIPS patient rest, which you can assemble modularly and cost efficiently. During the biopsy, the PHILIPS Circular C1 Coil is used for imaging. Using the NORAS biopsy unit (Post&Pillar and Grid), a biopsy or a wire placement can be performed by lateral, medial or cranio-caudal access. Thanks to the slightly tilted design of the Patient Rest,
generous cranio-caudal access space is available for breast biopsies. The immobilization device can be rotated by 360°. This ensures optimal access to the lesion of 270°.

GE Lateral Positioning System - Post & Pillar - Model 10062-GE
The Positioning System t is comprised of an Immobilization Device with thin-walled horizontal cross bars to guarantee ideal access of the breast. The angulation of the needle guides can be adjusted on a coronal plane in 15° increments, up to 30° in an anterior or posterior approach. Furthermore, the horizontal movable guide bar can be extended to the desired height like a telescope. This permits positioning of the needle guide within the complete operation area of the coil. For a software supported localization of the biopsy device, four removable markers are additionally incorporated. There is a separate adapter available to use the Mammotome vacuum gun with this Post&Pillar device.

CPC Multipurpose Coil 1.5T - Model MR8150
The CPC (Clothespin coil) is a multifunctional coil pair with a flexible holder. Each coil is configured as a 4Ch array which can also be used individually. The CPC is available for 1.5T and 3T MRT.
Thanks to its flexibility, the coils can nicely be positioned at different regions of the human body. Special coil configuration enables parallel imaging in different directions up to a factor of 6.
The
coil pair can be employed as an 8Ch coil for many different areas, such as:
Shoulder: Offers a wider selection of positioning options vs. conventional
shoulder coils.
Elbow: Enables imaging of the elbow in stretched or flexed positions. The
CPC is lso suited for motion studies of the elbow.
Hand: Offers advantages vs. conventional coils during the examination of rheumatic illnesses due to its excellent accessibility along three axes. Upon request, we can develop mechanical or pneumatic accessories to facilitate static and motion studies as well as load and strength procedures.
